I absolutely think a war tax is needed. I believe that a tax would bring the monetary cost of war home to American citizens. For too long, we’ve been just watching war as if it were a free video game. Since the cost of the military has been absorbed into our taxes, we haven’t been made to “feel the pain”.
Maybe if Americans have to pay additional taxes to support this silly war, more of us will be rethinking its necessity.

How about a special ACORN tax, Planned Parenthood (abortion) tax, wind and solar development tax, or an Illegal Alien Benefits tax so we all know what we’re paying for these and most of us will be rethinking the value of these programs?
